Manuel "The Pizzaman" Egele

General Information

Currently I am doing my Ph.D. at SecLab. My research interests include web security, binary, and malware analysis.
Prior to my Ph.D. studies I did my diploma thesis as well as an internship here.

• My diploma thesis features the TQAna project and covers behaviour based malware detection
• I am a project member of "F-SPAN A static PHP analysis tool to aid intrusion detection"
• Joint work with Heng Yin and Dawn Song from Carnegie Mellon University focused on "Capturing System-wide Information Flow for Malware Detection and Analysis"
